Alma Beltran was born and raised in Reedley and has proudly called Parlier
home for more than 30 years. She and her husband raised four children in the
community and are now blessed with two grandchildren.
A retired correctional officer and longtime public servant, Alma has dedicated
her life to supporting families, protecting communities, and creating
opportunities for others.
First elected in 2014, Alma made history as Parlier’s first Latina mayor. Since
then, she has worked locally, regionally, and at the state and federal levels to
make sure Parlier receives the funding, resources, and recognition it deserves.

I am running for re-election because Parlier’s progress must continue. We have made
important improvements in water quality, transportation, public safety, infrastructure, and services for our residents, but there is still more work to complete.
I have the experience and established relationships needed to fight for funding,
protect our community’s interests, and finish the projects Parlier families deserve.
#1 — Safe and Affordable Water
Protect Parlier’s drinking water, maintain modern filtration systems, replace
aging infrastructure, and secure funding for future improvements.
#2 — Safer Neighborhoods and Stronger Infrastructure
Support police staffing and modern safety technology while improving roads,
drainage, sidewalks, streetlights, and safe routes to school.
#3 — Youth, Parks and Economic Growth
Bring back the proposed sports park, improve existing parks and recreation
programs, welcome responsible businesses, create jobs, and strengthen
Parlier’s local economy.
By continuing to show up wherever important decisions are being made.
Small rural communities are too often left out when funding and resources
are distributed.
From Fresno County and Sacramento to Washington, D.C., I will continue
fighting to ensure that Parlier has a voice, a seat at the table, and a fair opportunity to receive funding.

Alma has secured major water investments, including new filtration technology and over $6 million for groundwater recharge. She supports Measure S to improve Parlier’s streets, sidewalks, drainage, and infrastructure for generations to come.

Alma has improved Parlier’s parks and remains
committed to delivering the sports park our youth deserve. Since she was elected, new businesses have come to Parlier, creating jobs, choices, and local tax revenue. Alma says YES to youth, YES to business, and YES to growing Parlier’s economy.

Alma was the only vote against moving $1.9
million designated for the sports park into the
General Fund. If re-elected, she remains committed to bringing the sports park back—but she needs your help electing new leaders who will put Parlier’s youth and the community first.

As your mayor, I have made sure Parlier is represented wherever important decisions are made—from Fresno County to Sacramento and Washington, D.C. I have served as Chairwoman of the Fresno Council of Governments, Chairwoman and President of the Fresno County Rural Transportation Authority, a member of the San Joaquin Valley Regional Policy Council, and a director with the California Association of Councils of Governments. Through every role, I have fought for funding, advocated for rural communities and reminded decision-makers that Parlier deserves a seat at the table.
The relationships and trust I have built were not created overnight. For years, I have fought to earn Parlier a seat at the table—from Fresno County to Sacramento and Washington, D.C. Now is not the time to start over. Together, let’s protect our progress and keep Parlier moving forward.

Right now, division on the City Council is preventing Parlier from moving forward. Our community needs leaders who will work together, put residents before politics, and focus on what is best for Parlier.
District 2 has two strong choices: Trinidad Pimentel and Yesenia “Yesi” Flores. For District 4, we must elect Andrew Lopez. These candidates are ready to bring professionalism, cooperation, and a commitment to serving our community to City Hall.

Serving as your mayor has been one of the greatest honors of my life. For more than a decade, I have worked to represent our families, protect our community’s interests, and ensure that Parlier receives the resources and attention it deserves.
Together, we have made meaningful progress in water quality, transportation, public safety, infrastructure, and opportunities for our youth. We have faced difficult challenges, but I have never stopped showing up, speaking up, and fighting for Parlier.
I proudly support Measure S because Parlier needs reliable transportation funding to improve our streets, repair roads and sidewalks, expand public transit, and create safer routes to school. After our community experienced the tragic loss of three students, improving pedestrian safety is not simply a priority—it is a responsibility. Measure S represents an investment in the safety, mobility, and future of our entire community.
I know there is still more work ahead. I am running for re-election because I have the experience, relationships, and determination needed to continue moving our city forward.
